The Greater Arizona Chapter of the National Society of Arts & Letters, founded in 1966 in Phoenix and serving the entire state of Arizona, is a visionary, dynamic non-profit organization of patrons, advocates and practitioners of the arts. We are dedicated to providing opportunities for creative young people through competitions, collaboration, scholarships, awards, exhibitions and performance in the disciplines of music, art, dance, literature, drama and musical theater. Over the years we have provided substantial monetary and other career assistance to young Arizonans.
The parent organization, founded in 1944 in Washington D.C. now has 17 chapters across the United States and has provided well over $3,500,000 in awards at the national and local levels.
